GENERAL HEALTH:

 In general, Border Collie breeds are healthy but this is not a guarantee that your dog is 100% healthy. You should be aware of the following diseases: Hip dysplasia, Epilepsy, Collie Eye Anomaly and Osteochondrosis Dissecans.

 12 to 15 years

EXERCISE:

 Like any other breed, Border Collie’s are very different. Some may prefer hard and daily exercise instead of others, who could tend to be more lazy and sleepy. You should take action as soon as possible if you spot that your dog is gaining unwanted amount of weight.
